what was the fuss over twitter packs?

chris brogan’s attempt at creating an easy way for new tweeps to find and connect with like minded people blew up and people threw their toys out of the pram about being on a LIST!

still we allow ourselves to be tagged, categorised linked to and found be all sorts of searches so what’s the big deal?

as has been said perhaps the way it was done was wrong (despite the best intentions) - perhaps a system with limited access where you have to apply o add yourself to the “packs” you want arther than allolwing anyone to update anything.

again just shows how petty people can be when they threaten to stop using twitter just because someone has put them on a list even thought they could be found via a search anyway!
